Pao-lin's having a ball with this party. She put her artistic skills to use doing the interior decorating (streamers! balloons! banners!), and while she can't really cook all that well, she was more than happy to find good places to lay out all the nomlicious food (and sneak a few bites of it here and there...SHE IS A GROWING GIRL, SHE NEEDS TO EAT, OKAY).

You can seriously catch her anywhere: eating food, meandering around making sure everything's going okay, participating in games like Pin the Cape on the Hero, some other thing that this mun hasn't mentioned because she's not braining good at the moment...

Pao-lin goes cross-eyed as she registers Grune promptly sticking the cape on her forehead. Well...she is a Hero, and the game is called Pin the Cape on the Hero...

"Ah, um, the picture's that way," she says, turning Grune around to face the right way.

"Oh, is it?"

Slowly, very slowly, Grune begins wandering...almost towards the picture.

Pao-lin watches carefully as Grune ambles in the general direction of the picture. Seeing a chair in Grune's path, she quickly moves it out of the way before giving Grune another gentle nudge to put her more in a direct line with the picture.

Grune doesn't even notice Pao-lin's quick save. Instead, she just keeps on wandering.

...If she gets too much farther off course, she's going to go straight through an open doorway.

"Wait, no, not that way, Grune!" Pao-lin runs over, grabs Grune's hips, and turns her back.

Trying to keep control of Grune is like dealing with overly finicky mechanisms in a video game...

She doesn't so much as startle at the sudden grab. "Oh, all right."

Finally, she reaches the picture on the wall. She spends a few moments feeling around, before carefully planting the cape...right on Fire Emblem's nose. Whoops.

Pao-lin's just relieved that she doesn't have to do course control for Grune anymore.

"Ah -- you missed," she says. "But that's okay, Grune, it was a good try!" She waves a cape in the air. "Now it's your turn to blindfold me and then spin me around!"

"Thank you." She pulls off her blindfold and regards the picture for a moment. "Oh, my."

She really had missed, hadn't she? Oh well.

She wanders back to Pao-lin and sorts out the blindfold. "Are you ready?"

Pao-lin nods. "Yep!" She closes her eyes and waits.

Grune comes over to stand behind her and ties the gentlest, loosest blindfold Pao-lin has no doubt ever experienced.

"There. All done."

Pao-lin frowns a bit at the slackness of the blindfold. She reaches up to tighten it herself. "Okay, Grune," she says. "Spin me around!"

"All right!"

Very carefully, Grune takes hold of Pao-lin's shoulders, and very slowly, very gently, she spins her.

She doesn't quite have the concept down yet....

"Umm...I think you need to do it a little faster, Grune," Pao-lin says. "I'm not getting very dizzy."

[lostinmyway]

"Oh, really?" Hmm, that's a little problem.

She starts spinning Pao-lin a little faster...but only just.

Well, Pao-lin supposes this is good enough. She can't see anything through the blindfold, after all.

"I think that's enough for now..." she says. She starts walking in the direction that she's facing. "Am I going in the right direction?"
