[Giles grabs an apple and leans against the stand right along with Link, looking impossibly tired. Apart from badly favoring one leg and assorted bandages that are, at least, bandaged...he doesn't look too bad.]

Well. That was fun.

[Sarcasm - the last defense of the criminally British.]

...no, it wasn't.

My mistake. I shouldn't be attempting any sort of word play at this hour or in this condition.

((ooc: Magic, followed by stitching up what he couldn't actually heal.))

Plaza, late night/early morning. lostinmyway August 30 2011, 14:06:53 UTC
[There's a woman asleep in the plaza this morning, scraped, bruised, and battered. Aside from a few partly-healed, formerly deeper cuts, however, she's in comparatively good condition.

After five days of relentless casting of eres, it might take a bit to wake her up, though.]

[A scantily clad woman sleeping on a bench? Well Jack is far too noble a spirit to just leave her be like that. So after taking a moment to admire her sleeping form, he crouches down to give her shoulder a little push.]

Time to wake up, beautiful. You're going to give Briar Rose a run for her money like this.

[Grune doesn't so much as stir. You're going to have to try a little harder, Jack.]

[He frowns and wonders if he should just carry her to the welcome center or something. Well, he'll try again. He gives her a good shake.]

Rise and shine.

[When she first awakens, she has to wonder if the last five days were all a big dream. Everything seemed surreal..the ocean, the beach, the ambush of Third Party members. But then she gets a look at her leg.

No, it's still very much broken and stinted. It hurt, actually, and there's a small yelp as she attempts to move it into a more comfortable position. Okay, okay guess we won't be doing that again. At least the cut on her arm had been healed nicely.

And since she can't get up from her bed, she'll be reaching for her journal to alert not only her housemates, but Jake as well.]

Guys? I think I'm home.

[It's not until a few hours after Kairi alerts them that Axel shows up to check on her. She sounded fine and everyone else would probably be going to check on her anyway, so there was no need for him to. Pfft, him? Worried? No way, man. But she did make a promise and Axel wanted to make sure she kept it.

He wouldn't be surprised if she was asleep by the time he stops by, though. He quietly pokes his head into her room, checking to see if she's asleep or not.]

[She's still awake, if only because her leg's kind of throbbing and she's trying to get her bearings together. She's also flipping through her journal to see if she's missed anything. It's quiet enough though that she hears her door open just a crack, looking up as it does.]

Hello? [Busted, Axel. May as well come in.]

[...welp. Axel goes ahead and steps into her room, then. He hasn't noticed her leg yet.]

Heya. See you made it back.

House 56 - Night, Smithy - Morning markofthewise August 30 2011, 14:53:02 UTC
[When Sokka finds himself back in his own bed, he doesn't care about the fact he's filthy. He's just going to sleep forever. Or that's the plan. He stumbles about the house to make a head count to make sure everyone is okay and in one piece, as well as check on the pets, and THEN he'll sleep forever.

The next morning he'll be late going to the smithy (and miss training altogether) though given he's pretty worn out, he's not going to be getting much done. Unless falling asleep on the couch counts as getting stuff done.]

[When Winry finds Sokka on the couch she decides to take a ragged blanket she has that sometimes covers her projects - for a sort of privacy - and places it over him. Normally she'd give him a hard time, but seeing as how he got back from the draft she'll go easy on him. She's just glad he's okay.]

[Not stealthy enough, Winry. That causes Sokka to wake up, a little startled. When he realizes what Winry is doing, he's a little, well, embarrassed.]

Huh, Winry?

Wh-what? You looked tired. [She stops trying to pull the blanket over him and just drops it on the guy.]

[Jack wasn't lucky enough to be deposited in his own bed. Instead he ended up at Good Spirits, feeling no worse for wear. Five days of ship rations, fighting and constant healing seemed to have been good for him. He was feeling as fit as ever and given he had booze conveniently at hand, he decides to gather up an armload of booze and make his way home with it in tow. He'll be making his way home in the middle of the night in this state and probably get himself nice and wasted back at his apartment.

Pity he doesn't have anyone to share a bed with.]

[ so before her hospital-gown clad boyfriend shows up, buffy is casually tending the bar. y'know, right about the same time when this jack starts piling up his arms with her booze.

at least, that's how she sees it. the lady of the pub gets a little huffy. ]
