[He watches Sheik carefully to see if it gains any sort of response. It wasn't exactly difficult to determine Sheik was a resident of his world.]

Wincing, he pushes himself back up to his knees, clutching at his head. Getting up to his feet is an effort - his leg screams in pain at him, the teeth and claw marks scoring the skin still very much livid despite Helios' best efforts. His shoulders ache from where one of the sea monsters...one of the sea monsters...got in a lucky shot before he managed to get out of the water. Probably about the time he was trying to rescue Katie. He's missing a bit of time around then, come to think of it ( ... )

It's a few minutes later when she gets the urge to check her notebook, maybe see who else has come in and check up on a few more people.
That's when she sees the recording.
No. No, no, no. Not so soon, not right after a draft. Ginia's out the door, flying down the stairs even as Giles' words ring in her mind.
'When I hear someone being taken? I try to run to them. I always try and run. I never find them in time, and I couldn't do anything to stop them if I did. But I look. And she'll try. Dammit, she'll try, even if he's well gone by the time she gets to the woods. She searches, tries to track them down, but there's nothing ( ... )

It was too soon. Why did they always come when it was too soon? Granted everything was in the end no one was ever prepared for it. Much like everything in this place. But with his journal in tow he rushes down part of the way eyes widening as he realizes it's Giles. Of course. He too runs knowing it'll never be enough. It's not so much as panic but sheer disbelief. Right after the draft? He has a spell in mind as he reaches the bottom floor, shortly after Ginia and the droids have left. But there is no one there. He couldn't even fight them and at least try to stop them. Not that it would matter.
When Ginia returns she might find Helios sitting outside the apartment. He looks tired, ever to tired, and he can only stagger to his feet when she goes to drop off his things. ] Ginia...
((ooc; I hope this is okay too! :I))

[Ginia's surprised to see Helios sitting outside the apartment and there's a brief flicker of surprise before a tired smile takes over. Wordlessly, she holds out Giles' belongings for him to take, trying to find words to sign once her hands are free.
What's there to say? After almost a week of fighting, just when things look peaceful again, it all has to be taken away.]
/It's not fair, is it./

What wakes Derek up isn't grass, gravel, or even the sheets of his bed.
It's the rising sun. Between the warmth and the fact that he still instinctively reacts to being unexpectedly out in the sun, he's trying to roll away from it before he registers that scratchy sensation on his cheek.
That scratchy sensation that you get from having your face planted on the shingles of a roof.
That he's now falling off of.]
*WHUMP!* *CRACK!* FUCK!
[Welcome home, Derek. At least it was only one story and there was a hedge to break your fall?]

These last five days would have been like a holiday, if only Yuuka didn't come to hurtling down the side of CH4. It takes her a moment to realise whats going on, though smashing against the side of the building helps some.
She's able to right herself before landing on the floor luckily, turning in the air and slowing herself to leisurely pace before setting foot on the ground.
Now the youkai has returned, first things first. Check on that garden. Yuuka will be working within her garden as per usual, after taking a leisurely stroll around CH4. If she's tired it really doesn't show.]

[Though should Loki want to lay there a little longer, that is perfectly fine too. Of course should he dally for too long, he will end up experiencing a parasol forcing it's way through his flesh and bones as a very angry youkai swoops over.]

Eventually he also realizes he is once again scantily clad in a ties-in-the-back hospital gown.
As soon as EVERYONE'S BACK IS TURNED (*cough*MCCOY*cough*), this disgraced sailor will be trying to get to Good Spirits before heading home to Cullen House. He is a man on the run.
Jack has no business leaving the Clinic due to his concussion and the horrible burns on his arms, chest, and left leg. (If you do see him walking, it will be with a crutch. He can't manage it otherwise.)
The pirate also might be acting stranger than usual due to the amount of narcotic painkillers pumping through his system.
The man still needs a drink, though.]

Eventually Jack makes it from the Dome to the village. It takes a long time. Every step will be worth it if he can just get some rum. When he finally does sit down at the bar, it is with a NOTHING IS WRONG grin and bandages just peeking out from beneath the leaves-nothing-to-the-imagination hospital gown.]
OI! WOMAN! RUM!

J-Jack...? [ she says his name like she's trying to reign in the attentions of a puppy that must have escaped through the kitchen door and was now cavorting around neighbourhood. ] You're -- have you seen yourself in a mirror, today? 'Cause I have to tell you that I'm not really a big fan of your latest fashion choice. Which is a shame, really. I was just about coming around to really dig the whole romantic pirate look. Escaped patient chic? Not an upgrade.
