Though even with two mages, and Norma playing the part of healer for her best friend, she even knows they'll need someone to run interference while they cast, especially the more damaging spells that can really dish it out. Though in those cases, when they're really swamped, Norma will play the best card of all:
Grab Grune and run. 8|b]

[Ffff, those feathery jerks are fast! And they're packing, too. An arrow whizzes past Norma's shoulder, inches above her wings, and she all but jumps out of her skin. Come on, G-Girl!]

Here, we'll help.
[...Aaaaand she starts casting. Welp.]

[Norma's amazed to see him actually, you know, flying, but that's not on the forefront of her mind for very long. Their attackers are blown to kingdom come, but that only entices more to swarm upon them - to take out this large threat.
...Aaand, since Grune's just going to just start casting, Norma might as well, too. But shee will be playing the part of buffer and healer instead, adding in smaller eres when she can. For now, though, she's going to power up their gleaming knight.]
Sorry, but it looks like we're here to stay! I'll cover you both, but make sure I've got space to breath here! [And cast, of course. Norma spins her straw between her fingers, then points it out toward the angel.] Rally!
[A red light should appear underneath Dhaos' feet, surging up through him and giving him brief power boost - kind of like a shot of adrenaline.]

[Blue-white light surrounds Grune, and then a wall of water as tall as she is races down the deck towards the enemy. It passes through Dhaos without touching him, but the same can't be said for the Third Party soldiers.
Once she's finished casting, Grune says:] Oh, no, we need to work together!
[And she goes right back to casting.]

Buuut, more on that later. The moment calls for more spells. Norma offhandedly casts Grave before trying her best to coerce Grune back inside. See, Little D, she's actually trying! Grune is just...very persuasive.]
G-Girl, I'm pretty sure Little D can handle it! You saw how he was all whoosh, raah!, boom, right? Come on, we gotta go back inside!
[Because this next batch of soldiers coming their way involves archers. And Norma doesn't want to be swiss cheese on the battle field, thanks.]

[Here, have multiple spears of ice shooting up from the deck and into the enemy soldiers. Once she's recovered from casting, she says:] Oh, no, we can't leave him to fight by himself. That's not very nice at all.

[Norma doesn't finish. An arrow goes whizzing way too close to her face and she gasps, nearly falling over. G-God damn, she could feel the breeze of that thing it was so close! And that was the first shot, many, many more are now beginning to fill the sky.
You know what? You know what?! Fine! If those jerks are going to play like that, then so will Norma. Sorry, Little D, but this has just become personal. Plus, Grune was right before...there really is safety in numbers. Anyone knows that much.
With a sour glare, and a twirl of her straw, Norma begins casting. This time, a much stronger eres.]
Furious maiden of ice and snow, born on the strains of the storm, rain down...
Blizzard!
[A cold chill fills the air and just as the rain of arrows is about to fall upon them, a huge snowflake appears in the sky, letting loose a gust of wind, snow, and blasts of ice, knocking back most of the arrow, and causing the sword carrier to stop in their tracks and shield their faces. It's enough to slow them down, not stop them, though.]

Then it's very good that we can help you now. [That's totally the message you wanted her to take away from this, right, Dhaos?
And she starts casting again.]

Norma finishes yet another buffing eres - Cheerleader Rally - to boost everyone's spirits and strength, before an arrow soars through the air and catches the side of her face. She yelps, covers her cheek, which is now bleeding, and practically howls with fury.]
THUNDER ARROW!
[Zap. That takes care of...whoever shot her. Or not. Whatever, she got one of those buzzards.]
