Summary: It is a good day. You're out on the open ocean enjoying the salty sea breeze, and suddenly- OH SNAP, BATTLE STATIONS...
Rating: Various! PG for violence at the least.

First Day - Placeholderish.

[Meat shield is something Norma can't do, sorry, but she can be one hell of a buffer for you, G-Girl. And weigh in some added support in the ways of her eres. And boy, oh boy, is she abusing her eres. Blizzard, Ray, Flare Tornado...it was great to have her eres back at full power again. Oh, how she missed kicking butt likes this. ♥

Though even with two mages, and Norma playing the part of healer for her best friend, she even knows they'll need someone to run interference while they cast, especially the more damaging spells that can really dish it out. Though in those cases, when they're really swamped, Norma will play the best card of all:

[Get used to it, Dhaos. Just ask Giles what happened when he tried to get her to leave him to battle alone.

And now there's a Bloody Howling about to keep the soldiers company! Isn't that nice?

More casting of eres, coming up!]

[For all his vulnerability, Norma still casts some healing eres on him regardless. All she saw were arrows striking him and panicked. It did make her a little breathless, using up so much of her strength casting, but by now the smarter soldiers were beginning to realize these three mages shouldn't be pressed. The more bold soldiers...eventually get squashed. Such is life.

Norma casts a few more eres - Ice and Fire Wall respectively - before the Third party begin to slowly fall back. Their numbers have certainly begun thinning, at least...and many of the soldiers surrounding the area are steering clear of the main danger zones and not joining the fray. Those are the smart ones.]

Looks like they're clearing out! [Norma drops her guard for a moment, just to watch a few of the soldiers whiz by overhead, retreating.]

[Oh, my, everyone's come back to visit. At least she's finished her eres again.] Bloody Howling.

[It's the only spell of hers that can reach aerial enemies, and so she goes back to casting it yet again.]

[...Well. Any of the soldiers that were either fleeing or trying to get in closer certainly meet their end with both Cyclone and Bloody Howling when used in combination. They drop onto the deck, either lifeless or unconscious - Norma's not bold enough to check - and don't move a muscle. Any lingering soldiers, or those that miraculously escaped, are flying away at fast speeds, with absolutely no intention of dealing with these three again today. They'll target other, weaker adversaries.

Norma snickers as they flutter off with their tails between their legs, then begins her...victory dance of sorts. She whoops, jumps up once, then sticks her tongue out after the Third Party. And to finish off her excitement, she all but jumps on Grune and hugs her.]

We did it! Man, G-Girl you picked one heck of a boyfriend! I approve! Little D's really something for sure!

[Come join the cuddlepile, Dhaos. You know you want to.]

[And Norma gets a delighted and soft hug in return!]

Yes, Dhaos is very strong, isn't he? And so are you, Norma!

[Totally not noticing this "boyfriend" word.]

[Ah, so soft and comfy. |D Better than the best of all the beds, yupyup. &hearts. Norma smiles happily, snuggles close to Grune and giggles with appreciative luster, then notices Dhaos wafting back down from above. How does he fly like that anyway? ...Eh, whatever.

NORMA SEES THAT GRUMPY FACE and she aims to rectify it. In the best possible way, ohoho...]

Oooh, Little D looks kind of upset! ...Maybe you should go congratulate him on a job well done too, G-Girl. Give him a biiiig hug!

[I regret nothing.]

All right! [What a good idea!

Grune lets go of Norma, walks up to Dhaos, and beams at him.] Good job, Dhaos!

[Have a biiiig hug!]

[/TWIRLS MUSTACHE.

Norma snickers quietly from her spot off to the side, tempted to jump in and give Dhaos a hug of her own. Even so, she doesn't. Doing so would bring her within the line of fire. So, she beams, gives a mock salute, and heads off towards the lower deck. Man, she has had way too much fighting for one day. Time for the longest bubble bath of her life.]

I'll leave you two lovebirds alone... [She grins, then stretches, arms raising over her head as she clambers down the deck towards the lower quarters.] Pheew! I need a bath for sure, and then a goood sleep!

[As always, all of this is going completely over Grune's head. She lets go of Dhaos and turns to give Norma a big smile.]

Good night, Norma! Sweet dreams!
