[So...considering that Helios was kidnapped just a very short while ago, and that Buffy is still missing, Giles isn't particularly in the mood to enjoy himself today. He's in the mood to wander the village like a hamster on a wheel until one of his growing list of missing loved ones turns up

[Theme parks, however, are definitely Grune's beat. The Legacy was notably short on them (unless you count potentially messing around in Werites Beacon's fountains), and so as far as her memory is concerned, this is a brand new experience for her. There are so many colours and delicious smells, so much movement, so many fun things to do, that she hardly knows what to look at or where to go first. She's certainly going to do her best to try everything at least once, although whether her memory allows her to keep track of what she has and hasn't done is up in the air.

The best part of all? Is getting to spend an entire day with one of her closest Luceti friends and someone else who seems well on her way to earning that designation. With her hand in Giles' as she and Ginia wander about the grounds with him, Grune is very much the picture of delight.]

[It might definitely wind up a case of the blind steering the blind - Grune leading Giles to investigate anything that looks new and interesting, and Giles stopping Grune from tripping over or running into any obstacles in their path, most especially people.

And, during those points where it seems at all feasible to attempt to do so, reminding Grune what she has and hasn't done.]

We just passed a place selling cotton candy.

[The timing of the theme park couldn't be any more perfect in Ginia's opinion. It's the perfect thing to provide some much needed excitement and fun in their lives, and being out with two of her friends? It can't get much better. Sure, some improvements could be made - it'd be wonderful if everyone who was kidnapped could be returned - but you took what you could get.

For her part, any sense of a calm decorum is a little out the window as Ginia runs around with more energy and excitement than a 30-year-old should have. That cotton candy? Ginia pops back up with three sticks of fluffy pink cotton candy.]

[She's loved the amusement park forever. As long as she can recall. Even Mama had known to find her there, because where else would Ami go when she needed to feel better and clear her head?

Just like this. It can't help making her homesick, and most of the time, Ami can be found near the carousel, a favorite ride. She rides it, or listens to the tinny music over and over until she needs a break; at those points, she can be found exploring the other rides or even near the games.]

[ There's an amusement park. There's an amusement park. There's an amusement park. Why wouldn't one find Usagi wherever there is fun to be had? And of course, why wouldn't one find Usagi wherever Ami is (unless it's a library..) And so Usagi, of course, ends up running into Ami in the park. ]

Ami-chaaaan! Do you really want to ride the carousel? You keep staring at it..

[Ami turns with a slightly awkward smile. It doesn't only have good memories anymore, does it? And besides, this is Luceti, not home. She won't be surprised by Mama coming to find her here, and there was never any time when she came here with her still-intact family.]

Ah- I'll go again if Usagi-chan wants to.

[ Maybe she notices that slight awkwardness in it and just decides to not dwell on it in favor for making Ami happy again, or maybe she doesn't notice it. Either way Usagi doesn't comment on it, but drag Ami towards the carousel instead. ]

Of course! Come on, come on! [ She laughs brightly. Seemingly having recovered completely since returning. ]

[Sakura always liked amusement parks. Sakura was Sakura, however, and in grade-school. Grade-schoolers liked amusement parks and stuff like that. She would've been ecstatic to be able to live at one for a few weeks

[Touya at least got a slight heads-up that someone was approaching him to talk. Maybe ask him for directions or ask where he got the funnel cake. He isn't really prepared for someone to ask whether or not he's having fun.]

Ah... [He smiles weakly.] Just missing someone who isn't here. I guess amusement parks are more fun when you aren't by yourself.

[Nill stares up in awe at the massive amusement park in front of her.]

[To be fair, she's never seen an amusement park before, so this is a massive amount of New Things for her. It all looks both exciting and scary at the same time--and there's food and robots dressed up and they could stay at a hotel nearby? Amazing! And definitely better than an experiment. Thank goodness it wasn't ready, that meant they could all have fun!]

[Nill immediately gets a large, fluffy stick of cotton-candy, which she keeps poking with her tongue and watching it melt as though it were the most fascinating thing in the world. What was it...?]

[She carries the strange sweet-thing around, watching people ride the rides and play the games--blanching at the roller coasters... So much to take in. She hopes Haine will let them stay at least the week, there's too much to do in just two or three days!]

[After a day or two to figure out what in the world this place is for, Mia has decided pretty firmly that she enjoys the water park.

But that won't stop her from also marveling at the cotton candy magic.]

[Oh! It's Mia, the nice lady who led her out of the forest after Miss Naoto disappeared. Nill is definitely happy to see her under happier circumstances.]

[Nill smiles at Mia, then looks back at her cotton candy. Then she looks back at Mia, shrugs, tears off a piece and holds it out to Mia. It's tasty, at least! Even if Nill has no idea what it's made out of.]

[Mia takes the piece of fluff with a thank you, and puts it in her mouth. Almost instantly it disappears. Mm. Sugary. But gone! And she looks so surprised.]

[Vash can't help but to check Luceti Land out, he's never been to an amusement park before.

At first he's very wary, even runs at first at the sight of the droids, but will man up once he sees they're not after anyone.

He'll start to loosen up after the first couple days, but he's still not going any rides just yet. (Not to say he can't get dragged on any.) But he sure is WATCHING them. He's... really not sure what to think of them. Especially the water rides. LOOK at those massive things of terror!

By mid week he'll finally figure out what he DOES like about this place. The food. Don't mind Vash walking around with cotton candy, funnel cake, and a corn dog or two always in his mouth.]

I went to the amusement park near home very often. I enjoyed the rides.
