[Noise appearing? In this town? People were telling him it wasn't the Game, but then how are they here?

Well, screw it. Whatever the reason, Beat's going to be out kicking their asses from above with his skateboard. Don't mind the kid who can suddenly magically hover on a skateboard while delivering some massive blows to the Noise. If anyone needs help? He'll be there to bring the beatdown.]

[A green frog hops across his path. Really, Beat? You're going to attack a poor, defenseless little frog?]

Beat drops down out of the air and picks up his board. Time to beat the hell out of him. He swings the board at the Frog's head.]

[So mean, Beat, so mean.

The three dixiefrogs hop around as Beat attacks them. One unfortunate frog connects with the skateboard, disappearing as the other two continue to hop, occasionally lunging at him.]

[Man, the journals have been a bit loud lately. It gave Vash the idea that maybe he should hurry home. Then again, it was hard to be sad with a bag of fresh donuts in your arm. He pops one happily in his mouth as he heads for home.

[Suddenly popping out from nearly every roof and window around the square are bandits loaded to the teeth with guns. Ugly bandits.]

You've got to be kidding me!

[But Luceti is not kidding. And the bandits open fire as Vash screams and goes running off through the square trying to ditch them. Watch out for that rocket launcher. Vash will shove you out of the way as he runs by if need be.]

...oh, you mean the bandits have one, too? Whoops. Someone might want to mention that to Giles from his shelter in a nearby alley.

Aim, and...fire! The rocket collides with a bandit at the back of the pack, causing it to vanish in a flash of light and a cut off scream.]

[If the world keeps changing on him like this, Giles knows that he's due for a bad case of vertigo. Or at least a nasty headache. Actually, the Wallmasters that keep dropping him everywhere have already given him a pretty bad headache.

Under safer, quieter conditions, this would be absolutely fascinating. He's getting glimpses of worlds that aren't his and places he never thought existed. For every flash to the mountains of Tibet and the killing blizzard or the cemetaries of Sunnydale or, oh god, the ruins of Sunnydale...there's a patch of another world, another place, another time

When Giles appears beside him, Jack blinks a few times at the other man. He points. Yawning at their feet is a crater of a chasm, somewhere in a hot, dry, sunny place. A broken sign nearby reads "Welcome to Sunnydale."

"What the buggering blazes IS this, former Watcher?!"

They're somewhere hot. And dry. And sunny. These are the first things to sink into Giles' mind. He's somewhere hot and dry and sunny with Jac. That is the second thing.

Giles is just in the middle of pushing himself into a sitting position when he notices what Jack is pointing at.

The former Watcher goes pale.

"Not again."

"Not again? The land's gone! This isn't even the good sort of ends of the earth, sir! This is the horrid bad craterish volcanic apocalypse sort!"

That paleness isn't lost on the pirate; he's feeling a little giddy himself, looking down on it all. He still hasn't noticed the sign, by the way.

[Gracia was just. Walking along on her way to the grocery store. When suddenly the ground erupted all around her and she found herself being pushed upwards by the rapidly reforming dirt, enclosed on all sides and to horror a roof even forms over her head. She rushes out to the balcony - balcony? - and grips the railing to fight off a sudden wave of vertigo.]

My goodness. That's... high.

[Suddenly, there is a tower along the southern path to the plaza. Hopefully, nothing will attack it? And it doesn't look like the woman trapped inside has hair long enough to reach the ground...]

Luckily, a girl is passing this way. A girl with VERY long hair, indeed---with TOWER LENGTHS of hair, partly coiled up but with most of it dragging along behind her.

Oh! It's........wow. Hello? Are you alright up there?

[Oh, a voice? A voice is good, because Gracia... happens to intensely dislike being left alone at great heights. Keeping her hands firmly on the balcony railing, Gracia glances down.

[The first day had passed without incident, at least in Terra's house. She spent it aiding her neighbors against whatever creatures happened to be harassing them. Given that her own home was unchanged, she hoped it would remain so.

The next day, of course, proves her wrong. After an early morning patrol, Terra heads back home...only instead of her usual small house, there's a tall, decrepit high-rise in its place. The area surrounding it resembles an equally decrepit city block, and even more bizarrely, there's a downpour only in that area. Nowhere else.

With a sense of dread, Terra approaches...and notices the Hill Gigas guarding the entrance.]

[The pouring rain suddenly catches Kain's attention. He glances around warily, before catching sight of green hair. Not Rydia, though, he realizes immediately it's Terra. He'd best go to see what's going on...]

[Terra sighs and draws her sword. She knows she can get in by teleporting, but she doesn't want to leave anyone else to deal with the creature. And so as it charges, she sidesteps, trying to avoid its blow and slice its side at the same time.]
