[Really now... Lilly was just trying to get home, she didn't want to fight this lizardman thing. It wasn't even like the Grasslander one either. Either way it was tough and though she was more skilled at it, the thing just seemed to not want to die. The fact that a little girl is nearby doesn't even merit notice. Yet.]

[By now she's gotten a little bit more oriented, thanks to Suki, but it's not like it's stopped the random monsters from still being around.

Still, it's weird to see all of the normal looking people fighting monsters with swords. She knows she's not home, but this is still disorienting.]

Ohhh, why does everyone just want to fight around here?

[Lilly finally takes down the monster, which vanishes in a flash of light. Just as she's sheathing her sword again, she hears Mimi crying out and turns to her, a little surprised.]

I don't want to fight. [She just doesn't have a choice here, okay. Though now she's taking note that this is a little girl. A very tastefully dressed little girl. Nice hat.] Are you hurt?

No, but if this keeps up, I might end up breaking more than just a sweat.

[Well! We can't have that.]

Then you had better stick with me. I'm sure there's somewhere safe around here. [It certainly wasn't home, though. The barracks? People always talked about that being a safe haven.]

Thanks! I hope so. I haven't really seen one so far.

Well, we'll just have to see about it, won't we? I'm Lilly.

[And since they're not being attacked at the moment, she gives a friendly smile.]

[Hm, now, what way would be safest? Going through the woods could be tricky, maybe the long way around...]

Running away from crazy attacking monsters? You bet! It just seems more confusing here.

Running into monsters isn't that unusual if you travel. It's one of those things you learn to deal with.

Tell me about it. I didn't even want to go to camp in the first place! Next thing you know you're saving worlds and monsters are everywhere. Then you turn around and they're in your own home, too!

[tintobrat]

[... saving worlds, huh. Monsters everywhere.]

Monsters are a common nuisance on my world. Learning to fight them is a fairly practical skill.

They weren't supposed to be in my world at all! But with the bad guys around...

[Pause. This conversation is starting to sound a little odd.] Is that why you have that sword?
