Given houw utterly fantastic this day has turned out to be, it's little surprise that Amelia turns in early. Not that she'll be able to sleep; honestly, she doubts anyone will, between Wolfwood being kidnapped and Legato showing up for the first time since the experiment. But Amelia is determined to try. If nothing else, maybe keeping her eyes shut and her journal closed will make the time go by quicker.

But that apprently isn't to be, as a loud crash resounds from the living room just as Amelia begins to doze. She shoots up in bed, grabbing for the gun just beside the nightstand. Her first fear is that Legato's found them, found her--and the quiet that follows doesn't exactly ease her mind. But even sick, Vash should be able to get off a few shots, shouldn't he
