Where: Nami and Zoro's fictional mikan orchard on the outskirts of town.
Summary: It's that time of year again in which the household sneakily gathers free

[Vash shows up bright and early as promised with his yearly delivery of flowers.] Hey, Nami! Where would you like these?

[After dropping off flowers in various places, Vash will probably be roped into helping with the harvest. Feel free to run into him where you'd like!]

Oh, hey! Thanks, Vash. Just on the tables out the back, if you don't mind-- I'll get the workers to put them up.

Alright! No problem! [He'll take the flowers right out back for you.]

We're doing fine. [Honestly, she's married to Zoro. And Sanji's pissed. And her father's looking into it personally. Matter of time.] Small bump in the road, that's all.

[Hostess duty, what. Nami will be on hand to greet people as they arrive and offer them a basket if they don't have their own. (She has smaller baskets for any children that show.) She's also dressed in this little number, which is only important insofar as you might see all three of her daughters wearing pretty much the same thing.]

[ Chouji would only miss this event if he were dead or heading there swiftly. Lucky for him, that is not the case today. Once he turns up, it is his business to be everywhere at some point- he loves to spend time with his family, what can he say (and possibly matching his father's outfit in the family motif damn these wily women, dressing him up).

So you know, if he happens to run into you, the where and when are both pretty open. ]

[Oh, Chouji, you look so dapper in that suit of yours! It'd be such a horrible shame if you were to get tackled into the dirt and muss it up! Why, the very thought! Who would do such a terrible thing to such a sweet and kind person?

Let's put those ninja skills of yours to the test, Chouji. Why? Because the moment Miyabi's in the orchard, so begins her favorite game in the world. Let's hope you're paying very close attention to your surroundings.

[ What, he is so completely aware of his surroundings today. It's ridiculous.

...okay, maybe he's actually not the best in the ninja gang at that part. But he deserves points for being vaguely suspicious that he's being watched, right? ]

[It's only when Chouji realizes that something lurks in the orchard that Miyabi begins to sneak closer. Barefoot, and with the ground being as earthy as it is, her steps are stifled to the point of almost being silent.

Chouji's only warning is the ruffling and hum of her wings before the girl springs like a cat, from behind, and hugs her dear brother tight.]

HA!

Everywhere, like the prancing mikan fairy that she is.

[Miyabi had been looking forward to this event ever since her mother brought it up. How could she possibly have forgotten?! Ahh...it must have been all the craziness with the Shift and the festival. But whatever, now wasn't the time to sweat things like that.

Miyabi will be wearing the same fluttering white dress as her mother as well as a cute little flower tiara that Nami got for her. Her sister's may also be wearing the same tiara, too, as they were meant to match for the harvest. Even as she darts through the orchard, Miyabi's extra careful not to lose the little tiara.

Her basket is empty for the time being, mostly because she'll be playing a bit of hide-and-pounce-on-your-relatives. This happens to be Miyabi's favorite game ever since she was a wee little toddler. FAMILY MEMBERS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Resistance is futile.

And running only entices her further.]

[One of your grandfathers is wandering around the orchard and assigned himself the role of overlooking the harvest and making sure no one is causing trouble...or having trouble collecting fruit.

He's wearing something more casual for the event and generally seems to be in a more pleasant mood than most days. He totally doesn't notice that someone may be preparing to pounce him. Too busy having a nostalgia moment.]

[Causing trouble? What, why who on earth would dare to cause trouble at such a tranquil, harmonious family get together like this?! Yes, who indeed~ ♥

When Miyabi spies her other grandfather, she grins. Alexei's been more of the serious of her two granpa's, but he never seemed to dislike it when she swooped down and hugged him. This had been her favorite thing to do to any and every member of her family come harvest time, so the routine is rather similar. She'll go in for a sudden attack from behind.

Miyabi springs from her hiding spot, half crashing into her beloved grandpa, arms wrapping around him.]

[Holy shit who is that!? Out of reflex he had his hand resting on the hilt of his blade until he glanced behind and realize who it was.]

Miyabi? [His hand relaxes and grins] Heh. So I've been caught. I am not worthy the rank of Captain.

You should also know he went out and bought a new outfit in order to be dressed for this occasion as much as the festival. He might have picked something less... yeah, but it's just so much more fun to have fun with clothes, isn't it. ]
