[Bowser wakes up a little sore and bruised, still stiff from that... whatever he had with Adell. Stupid little spiky haired punk. Bowser should be leading those dumb Blue Rogues!

But whatever. He stomps through the house and... wonders why it's so quiet. Wait, was his bed empty this morning? In fact, why the heck is this house so empty!? So he gets on the journals and decides to ask.]

Hey! HEY! Gelda, kids! What's the big idea running out on me this morning!?

[He's just gonna stomp around town in a bad mood trying to locate his family.]

[ sometime around 4am, the poor souls in house 35 will be awoken by a sharp cry of alarm. This is definitely not shuri's house and he has no memory of arriving here.

there's a grab for the journal! some fumbling, shuri nearly knocks the lamp over before he gets it on and the journal is in hand! big bro, papa, mama, you're getting a panicked call! ]

[Jennifer gets woken up BY HER PANICKED BOYFRIEND. D: Bro, it's 4 AM, wtf are you doing.

But Jennifer does not think this. She rubs the sleep out of her eyes and promptly reaches for the journal to respond in a slightly-tired-slightly-worried voice. Because that's what good girlfriends do, right?]

...Shuri? Are you all right?

[ there's so much relief... then this means something strange is just happening... ahh, or not. maybe... he could have been arguing and decided to stay over with someone. ]

Are you at home?

[Mithos finds himself in a similar predicament this morning, leading him to where he is now: scurrying as quickly as possible back to his mother. Naturally, he's worried about what may have happened to her. Waking up somewhere new sounds like something that would be decidedly not good when combined with her memory issues.

Oh, look, there's Hiccup, looking equally disconcerted. That's enough to pull him away from his worrying, at least momentarily. Because he always worries about Mama Sayo. He hurries over, waving.]

That sounds a lot like my morning. ...It must be another shift. [He'd figured as much already, but now it's more certain. A sigh as if this is just a mild annoyance that must be dealt with. ...He's not so good at downplaying the concern he has for various family members, though.]

You haven't heard from Raine, have you? [Because your mother's probably worried about you. He doesn't like when she worries too much - that's his job, thanks.]

[Rydia stirs and stretches, slowly opening her eyes. The sight isn't unfamiliar to her, at least, as this is her house and bedroom. She doesn't quite want the day to start, so snuggling up against her husband for just a little while longer seems like a good idea.]

[Kain doesn't object to more snuggling, holding Rydia close as he slowly drifts awake. This is nice and comfortable...]

[Very comfortable. She nuzzles him and leans up to plant a light kiss. One more moment of peace before they'd have to head downstairs and let the day begin. There's so much to do, and it can't be stalled forever.]

[As much as he'd like to linger here with Rydia, Kain knows they'd better get up soon. He has his usual training to do after all. What sort of Blue Rogue would be be if he allows his skills to grow dull?]

[Cheyenne didn't even have to feel the other side of the bed to know something was amiss. Alf wasn't there. He wasn't in bed sleeping beside her and he wasn't in the room. She couldn't even sense him in the apartment...!]

[Which obviously meant she had to go find her wayward husband. In seconds, she's out of bed and out the door, only taking a moment to remember her shoes and not even bothering to change out of her pajamas.]

[Unfortunately, in her hurry, she forgets that running and blindness don't mix. She's only outside for a few minutes before she trips and falls on her face. Gdit.]

[Similarly, Alf had dashed out of the apartment the moment he registered the lack of Cheyenne's presence. Never mind waking up in a place that's most definitely not his. She's missing, and his first priority is to find her. Already dressed in decent casual wear, he has no trouble running about in haste for that petite figure.

Well, he doesn't run for long. He spots her on the ground. His heart skips a beat as he's overwhelmed with concern. He's by her side in a flash.]

C-Cheyenne! [Here his voice softens. He doesn't want it to sound like he's yelling at her.] Are you okay?

[Cheyenne could sense Alf approaching before she even heard his voice, and once she feels him close enough, she pulls herself up and rests on her knees.]

I woke up alone. It was... an unpleasant feeling. [She was worried, but more than that, she was lonely. Did he leave intentionally? Did something happen? She didn't know. And she didn't like not knowing.]

...may I embrace you?

I imagine it must have been. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you. I have no idea how it happened . . .

[And he means all of it. At her question, his look of concern reshapes into a soft one. He smiles.]

You don't even have to ask.

[Then he wraps his arms around her and holds on, gently but also firmly. So what if they're in public; if Cheyenne wants to hug in her pajamas, then she can do just that. He's not going anywhere, now.]
