[Rydia stirs and stretches, slowly opening her eyes. The sight isn't unfamiliar to her, at least, as this is her house and bedroom. She doesn't quite want the day to start, so snuggling up against her husband for just a little while longer seems like a good idea.]

[Kain doesn't object to more snuggling, holding Rydia close as he slowly drifts awake. This is nice and comfortable...]

[Very comfortable. She nuzzles him and leans up to plant a light kiss. One more moment of peace before they'd have to head downstairs and let the day begin. There's so much to do, and it can't be stalled forever.]

[As much as he'd like to linger here with Rydia, Kain knows they'd better get up soon. He has his usual training to do after all. What sort of Blue Rogue would be be if he allows his skills to grow dull?]

[Rydia knows and sighs.]

We can sleep in another time. Maybe once the festival is over....

[She stretches again, then reluctantly moves away and sits up.]

[As he gets up, Kain sighs. You know how much he loathes gatherings of people, don't you?]

[Downstairs, while Rydia and Kain are still waking up, the sound of the door opening and closing will be heard.

Not long after, Theodore's familiar voice calls up the stairs.]

Kain, Rydia, are you two awake yet? There seems to be a disturbance in the village.

[Ah, there he is. Kain was beginning to wonder, after they'd discovered the others randomly in their house. He writes up something quickly and then heads down the stairs to meet him.]

Father, I assume you were displaced like many others?

Ah, Kain. Yes, it seems we're in the midst of a shift again. Most aggravating timing.

But it looks like you've had the good luck to remain unaffected.

[Especially so close to that festival. Not that he cares about such events, but he knows many will be planning for it and so on.]

Nor was Rydia affected, she was here with me. But Uncle Cecil is also sleeping in one of our rooms, as well as two others...

Father, are you all right? There were no other effects, I hope...

Ah, so that's where Cecil is. Poor Terra was beside herself.

Nothing else I can discern. A remarkably small shift, all things considered. Though perhaps I shouldn't be so quick to determine that.

... Also, you mentioned two others?

[Kain nods, and is relieved to know that nothing horrible has happened to his father especially. He hero-worships the man after all.]

Yes. Selphie and... Ceodore. This shift appears to have acted very randomly.

[He at least knows Selphie slightly better, since she's a step-cousin of sorts. But why she'd have ended up here, and why Ceodore of all people as well... it baffles him.]

[Rydia, after a quick house inspection to make sure they weren't suddenly hosting any more people, joins them with some relief.]

Theodore! Oh, good. We were wondering what happened to you.

Selphie and Ceodore, is it? Well, at least they're sticking to family, even if they are distantly related.

[He gives Rydia a warm smile when she shows up.]

Nothing to worry about, I assure you. By the standards of most shifts it was really nothing more than a prank.

[Kain nods agreement.]

At least we're all intact here. Although I hope Yuber hasn't gotten himself into any trouble...

[...Ok, so Kain is just a bit envious that his brother could just quickly teleport out of any annoying situations.]

[Rydia shakes her head.]

He better not. It's chaotic enough, around here. At any rate, we need to get things back to the way they were. Selphie and Ceodore's things are here, and so are Cecil's, but not yours.

[Glancing to Theodore at that.]
