[Harry has not one, but two wands with him, since he'd agreed to bring Luna's to her. But first, there's work to be done. He takes a cart of his own, but before he steps out, he wants to clarify something. He speaks in a whisper.]

Er, pssst! Do you know which rooms have Shift technology in them?

[He nods and glances around cautiously. It might be too early for a Muffliato.]

Albert told me using magic around it could be dangerous, but otherwise I can seal things up pretty well. We shouldn't look too conspicuous working together, right?

[at least it was dark when she forced her eyes open. Moving felt impossible, so she closed them again and tried to remember.

She wouldn't go quietly. She never did. They must've planned for that. They didn't wait for some drug or other to work - they took her down the old fashioned way. A quick blow to one temple...

...was all she could remember. Things hurt but she still couldn't move. ...And at least one someone was in here with her. She could hear breathing.]

[While Sheena may be awake, Jennifer most certainly isn't, though it's hard to say whether it's because she's really asleep or just simply doesn't want to open her eyes.

Most likely it's the latter, if the low whimper coming from her is any indication.]

[Now someone's actively whimpering. Sheena fights to sit up, but all she manages to do is turn from her side onto her back with a hiss]

Who...ugh... Who's there?

[What a familiar voice. It's a change from always waking up alone. It was...comforting, somehow.]

...Huh?

[Today, Buffy's co-infiltrators may not even recognize her. She is primly dressed in a white lab coat, a dark red turtleneck underneath that, and a pair of very unnecessary glasses perched on her nose. Those working in the facility may know of her--may have seen her during her own kidnappings--and she does not want to risk being seen as the spunky, trendy young woman she is. So, hugging a clipboard and striding purposefully through the building's corridors, she begins to glean what information she can ( ... )

[ McCoy is still in his cell in on the fourth level of the basement, getting steadily more agitated with just sitting around and feeling like hell, which is why he hangs near the door. Or what he thinks is the door to this damn room, anyway. It was hard to tell, but the blinding light whenever they dropped the children in here was more than enough to go on.

Does he know any morsecode? Not really, but maybe knocking on the door will give some of his fellow captives the incentive to try and reply to him. Or at least startle any Malnosso scientist bastards who happen to be hanging around. ]

[A...knocking? Well, this scientist is certainly startled. It isn't hard to deduce that it's some kind of a pen--a cell, in fact. Buffy walks up to the glass and peers in.

Bones. Oh, gosh--she flattens one hand against the surface and raps quickly with the other. Then...well, no. She takes a quick step back. It wouldn't be good to be so obvious about this.

She walks back to the cell's door, examining it and listening carefully.]

[ Hey wait, that return knock was closer than he expected and it didn't sound metallic, so McCoy increases the fierceness of his thumping on the wall with his fist. Might as well take out some of his aggravation on some faceless scientists drawn in by his restlessness. ]

Hey, let me out! Think you're tough kidnapping a bunch of kids, huh?

[It's been a while since Raine had to last assume a role for an infiltration, and it certainly wasn't to this degree. The last time it worked because she was the only one who could fit into the outfit, after all. A Shift Researcher... and an opportunity to study the machinery in the Malnosso base. Such opportunities didn't come every day--in fact, it was still amazing that it had come at all, for all they had experienced in these Luceti years ( ... )

[Giles, on his way to the elevators, stops in at the room Raine is currently occupying. He's been hearing chatter from all the various Malnosso on the floor, and without knowing what's useful he's trying to hear whatever he can]

[He notices Raine on the way to grab some of the coffee, but says nothing]

[Raine notices his presence, but he's lowly security, so acknowledging him verbally is out of the question, at least for now. She calmly turns another page once he gets close enough.]

[Lowly security talking to one of the Shifting techs? Yeah, out of the question. Giles passes by her and heads for the coffee machine.

One he has some he takes a sip, just for the look of the thing...then he grimaces in disgust and drops it in the nearest trash can.

When he speaks, he doesn't sound at all like himself. The accent is completely different]

Damn it, but with all the rushin' about those red shirts have got goin' on, you'd think someone could manage to fix up the coffee.

[Batman had long ago slipped into the computer facilities unnoticed and had been settled in, faking his new line of work, listening in to his coworkers' conversations, trying to discern anything useful.

When Ted slips in and is acting nonchalantly, Batman, also disguised in that area, catches sight of him. He's picked an out of the way terminal further in the room, and when he's sure no one is looking, he quietly whispers into his earpiece.]

Ted. Terminal fourteen, row nine. Move.

[ Windows and doors-the impermanence of this plan burns quietly at the back of Allen's mind as he moves, never forgotten for an instant. It keeps him careful as he moves, with occasional glances up to take in the layout of each room he enters for, as needed, exit routes to close off. But these are quick, stolen looks, and in the meantime there's a floor to clean.

It costs a moment to recognise Ted, but that's all there is: a lingering look of curiosity. This is possibly the least impressive infiltration known to anyone. Apparently, while times may change, mops remain in style. (But Allen's good at cleaning, at least.) ]

[Squall walks into the computer facilities as if he does this sort of thing every day. As he goes, however, he's keeping an eye on windows that can be closed and sealed or anything else that looks like it might be an access point that can be shut down.

His first priority, however, is finding a computer terminal that he can use. From there he ought to be able to get into some of the more electronically based choke points, or so he hopes.]
