Star Gazing - Any NightcrytearsofjoyJune 11 2010, 03:47:25 UTC
[Picking a spot away from the tents and the light of the fire pit, Winry lays out a blanket on the grass. She isn't too far because she's still wary of the night. However she wants it to be dark. Dark enough so she can see as many lights as possible. Lights from the sky.
It's almost like back home, where there was little to no light pollution. Unlike Central. The stars this night shine brightly, and they're simply magnificent. Winry spreads out on her blanket to stare up at the little white specks, and anyone is welcome to join her.]
[As typical before Sokka heads to sleep himself, he does a headcount to make sure everyone is accounted for. When he finds that Winry isn't with the others, he goes searching. Unfortunately he doesn't expect to find Winry on the ground, so at some point... he'll be tripping over her.]
SWIMMING - any daysmalldamnheroJune 12 2010, 03:42:00 UTC
[It's not like he had anything better to do.
Ed had picked up some swim trunks from the clothing store before he'd left -- they were, of course, fire engine red (he was kind of missing his coat) -- and was now standing barefooted at the edge of the lake, hands on his hips, frowning at it like it was annoying him.
Then again, lots of things annoyed him. (Like being hit over the head with a wrench.)
Anyone is free to join him. Or push him in. Or gape at the metal right arm and left leg he's sporting. Take your pick.]
[She sees that grumpy face. Oh-ho does she see that face. And a wicked grin plays on her face as an idea slips into her head.
Ed must be hot. With the almost-summer heat, and his metal limbs... he must be scorched. Now Winry, being the ever caring friend she is, wants to help solve that problem for him. Because friends don't let friends die of heat stroke, now do they? So with a running start, Winry bolts at Ed, and - !
[Sokka is actually out swimming himself! This is incredible, because he's spent most of his time boating. But hey, there's pretty girls galore. Sokka is no fool.]
[Splashing detected! Given he's not DROWNING, that was definitely not his sister. So he's going to return that with the biggest splash a non-bender can manage.]
[Sokka is out fishing on one of the canoes. There are two more that can be used as well. Come bug him as he fishes? Of course you can! He doesn't seem be having much luck at the moment.]
FOREST-SIDE - ANY DAYsweethealerJune 12 2010, 07:27:33 UTC
[ Yellow's out near the forest in the day, wearing her hat. There's a bird on her shoulder as she looks at the trees. She's feeling at peace standing here but also unfocused and just the slighest home-sick. ]
