Day 09 → A photo you took

I still can't believe I got a shot like this with my dinky little lens!

The first time I ever got a perfect bell curve on my light levels!

I just really like this one for some reason. The Land of Lost Mugs.

First portrait I've taken that I really liked. That's my grandma, who is pretty much ageless, but I believe she's 89?

Yeah, I haven't posted in ages. I haven't looked at my f-list in longer. I've kind of gone into this mode where I'm either doing knitting stuff, like looking at Ravelry or actually knitting, or hanging out with my dad. I want to get back into looking at my f-list and stuff like that, but there's so much stuff to knit!

I turned my dad into a Doctor Who fan. I was watching it downstairs because I had DVRed it, and I knew he was intrigued because he kept telling me to turn up the volume. Eventually he gave up any pretense of not being that interested and came and sat on the couch, then when it was over, he wanted to watch the whole marathon on BBC America. Now he has discovered Jack Harkness and ordered Torchwood on Netflix. Of course he would ♥ Fun fact: did you know that Torchwood is an anagram of Doctor Who? I didn't.

I started up a knitting blog over here. I haven't posted yet, but maybe I will tonight. Check it out! It'll have stuff about knitting for those of you who are into that, as well as updates about the Etsy shops I'm going to open once I turn 18 (which is on January 31st HINT). One of them is going to be called Sweetish and will have knits and a bit of vintage stuff, as well as maybe hand-dyed yarn, cause I want to learn to dye stuff. The other will be called Fannish, and will have fandom-related amigurumi (crochet dolls). The fandoms I'm planning are Harry Potter (already started designing a Draco doll), Star Trek, Doctor Who, Firefly, and maybe Lost. Do you think people would be interested in those last two? I certainly would, but I don't know whether a lot of people still like Lost. I know a lot of people got fed up with it later in the season (WARNING: IN THE COMMENTS DO NOT SAY ONE THING ABOUT THE LAST THREE EPISODES OF SEASON FIVE; I haven't watched those yet). There's only one other seller I've found on Etsy who does stuff like that, and she doesn't have anything in any of those fandoms, nor does anyone else, so I think I've found a pretty good niche.

Finally, thanks to people who sent me Christmas gifts! Elena, I loved the card. Chris, I got the yarn and have already made stuff out of it. Unfortunately, I didn't plan very well and had no time to send Christmas stuff to anyone. I barely had time to knit the stuff for my IRL friends! I'll make it up to you guys for your birthdays, or next Christmas, whichever comes first :]
