Aw gosh, I love the little mentions of how well Jon still knows Cassie, and how it looks like they're out as a bunch of couples even though it turns out they're really not. And I love, love, love all the girlfriends in this. And boys not needing not finish their sentences for the others to get them. Gah. *heartssss*

Apparently, Dr. Phil is wrong. If Cassie and his band are what he loves, he doesn't have much of a life beyond them. To me the tone seems more ambivalent than melancholy, it's just thoughtful. And sweet!
