Father's Day

It seems to be the fashion at the moment to marginalise the role of a father, and trivialise their importance. I cannot find words strong enough to express my despair and annoyance towards this line of behaviour. Children need a dad as much as a mum so today I want to say 'thank you' to my dad, and to the man who fathers my children.
