So at work, I've pretty much been doing the same old procedures over and over: I have to create deletion constructs so that I can inject them into fly embryos and create mutant lines which we use to test potential gene enhancer regions.  I finally got some embryos from some of my established mutant lines and stained them, and I saw that some sites

Took ya long enough to get something new to do. Your job still sounds like the dullest thing ever...but who am I to speak, I've been doing the same thing for 5 years.

Yeah, sometimes for me, it's mostly the people and less...uh...lessly the work, that keeps me there. Right now though, the scale is tipping a little bit.
