I never thought I would say the following words... Astrotrain is being so sweet...
It's so interesting to find out about Cobweb's past!

I would have sworn I'd never write such a thing, but Cobweb needed to have it told.

But I didn't get the impression Cobweb/Comettracker's size change was that extreme. And couldn't the autobots go to Vector Sigma and ask for femme sparks since Alpha Trion joined with it?

They must have been too subtle for me to recognise them then, or at least to recognise how great it was.
Cobweb's mass is even lighter than most mechs that size because her form uses no subspace. Comettracker was large, closer to Skyfire than to Starscream.
I thought about the subspace thing after I posted my comment, but it didn't come across very clearly that Comettracker was close to Skyfire's size.
I'm not very clear on the timeline of the series, but again, I realised the Aerialbots might not exist yet in your timeline after posting my comment. And I'm looking forward to seeing Ratchet get a chance to talk to Cobweb.

Astrotrain, you are wonderful. Thank you for caring.
and lstarrunner? Thanks for being the conduit.
All in all, a very moving story.

Would you believe I started telling Starrunner's story last March in order to introduce Cobweb? Cobweb's a behind-the-scenes sort of bot, so I couldn't just plunge in...

I swear, these aren't my stories, I just write them down!
But I am a writer: head-charas consume my life! Who needs sleep, right? ;-)
