Universe: loosely G1 cartoon. Sequel to
Anything You Like. Also follows the events of
Skimming the Surface and
Break from Habit.
Rated: NC-17 for detailed physical intimacy between mechanical beings, including plug-n-play, and a graphic description of what amounts to child abuse, past. GRAPHIC.
Pairing: Astrotrain/Cobweb.
(
I was finally allowed Cobweb's POV... )
After they find Vector Sigma and Alpha Trion merges with it, yes, they could, with unknown probability of success, but that hasn't happened yet: no Stunticons, no Aerialbots yet. Vector Sigma has not been located, yet, in my universe. I figure I can ignore true air-date order if I need to, given the blatant random appearance of mechs in the background when they shouldn't be (like in Triple Take Over, we see Starscream with the other Seekers even though we know he's frozen with Megatron, and we see Astrotrain flying with the cone-heads even though we know he's still underground), I can say we have Omega and the Constructicons and Skyfire and the Dinobots but that the Autobots haven't seen the Triple-changers yet, the cone-heads have not arrived yet, and the other gestalts are not built yet. It'll come.
When Ratchet gets the chance to ask questions, Cobweb will probably explain a lot more, intended or not.

They must have been too subtle for me to recognise them then, or at least to recognise how great it was.
Cobweb's mass is even lighter than most mechs that size because her form uses no subspace. Comettracker was large, closer to Skyfire than to Starscream.
I thought about the subspace thing after I posted my comment, but it didn't come across very clearly that Comettracker was close to Skyfire's size.
I'm not very clear on the timeline of the series, but again, I realised the Aerialbots might not exist yet in your timeline after posting my comment. And I'm looking forward to seeing Ratchet get a chance to talk to Cobweb.
