Who: Alex, Cissnei, anyone still in Junon who might be out before the sun rises? When: After the dream. Location:Junon Rating: PG-13 ish at most. ( I know now, this is who I really am inside )
Cissnei had been sleeping lightly for what felt like ages. So, the distant sound of gunfire was enough to rouse the red-headed Turk. So late at night, she had to wonder who was shooting and why.
Quickly getting up from her bed, she quickly pulled on her suit and made her way outside, listening for the direction of the shots before jogging there. Of course, she hadn't expected to be lead to the shooting range or to find Alex there.
".Couldn't sleep either?" Alex lowered her gun a moment later, turning to look at Cissnei. "...I woke up and didn't feel like going back to sleep so I came out here for a while. Sorry if it woke you." She lifted a hand rubbing it over her eyes.
"...Have you had anything weird happen to you lately?" The dream had been disturbing enough, it made her wonder if anyone else was having those dreams.
"Doesn't look like you're sleeping well either." Veld muttered. Had other people had nightmares? Veld supposed that it was common enough, considering that they were all Turks. He didn't, however, think that he would see Alex out in the mess.
"That's an understatement." Alex glanced up when she heard the familiar voice. "...It's been a while, Veld." Her tone held respect when she addressed him and she placed her gun on the table in front of her with a sigh.
Veld nodded and found a seat at the table. "None of us seem to be comfortable with idling. I'm going to be contacting Miss Lockhart and Valentine again shortly. Have we found any word on our missing Rude and Princess?"
It was work first, this was how Veld operated. Easiest this way. Also he had an idea that Aleksandra needed something else to put her mind on.
"I'd gotten used to it, at least until we were called back to duty." Alex said after a moment, brushing hair out of her eyes. "Tseng got a call from Rude, and apparently they're stranded on an island somewhere. I'm supposed to go searching in the morning."
She took a moment to reload her gun. "Rhys is gone again, too."
