So ednun took me to see Transformers 2 in Camden tonight. He wanted to go to a showing with audio description, which is fair enough, and as his helper, I got in for free, so that was cool. Thanks, man ( Read more... )

Frankly, I'd save your time. It's really not worth it. I thought the 1st one was utter pants, myself, and this is a lot worse.

It *IS* worth seeing the first one as aside from the overly frenetic battle sequences it was a suprisingly good film ... The second one just doesn't cut it tho - your right about that.

The 1st one is better, more coherent and more balanced than this.

But the 1st is bad, incoherent and utterly lacking in balance.

Frankly, I thought both were drivel.

But hey, there's always Ms Fox to gaze at in wonderment...

Naah, he was doing me a favour. And I got to try audio description on a film where I didn't care if it screwed it up. Win/win.

And my many bodymods were all /involuntary/, of course, which kinda makes a difference, no?

The headsets resemble the ones I've used in conference rooms for simultaneous translation. I think they are indeed some kind of infra-red.
