I finished rewatching the first series today, and it's even better than I remembered. And just - Geoffrey Tennant. ♥_♥

I know, right? I don't think I remembered to mention Geoffrey as one of my all time favourite characters, and, omg, I LOVE HIM so much. How could I forget that?

Ah, I am so glad that you are doing this meme! Slings and Arrows is one of those shows that I have been meaning to watch for quite some time.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. I really can't. I somehow managed to forget it while doing this meme earlier, but it's pretty much my favourite show of all time. (Well, alongside LoM and Dexter.) I watched the first series in a day, it was so compelling.

I've seen bits of it, as I have friends who love it. As it's not that long, I can probably add it to my September list.

Dexter is a show that I will make myself watch one day. Probably not any time soon, but at some point!

You haven't seen Dexter? This is incomprehensible to me. Everyone should watch at least one episode, if only to turn around and say "yeah, really not for me."

Oh man, Slings and Arrows smashes every single one of my enjoyment buttons. It's just brilliant. My favourite bit is the way Paul Gross has apparently dressed up like Dylan Moran :)

My Tivo recently picked up that episode from Ovation and I watched it about three or four days in a row. It's brilliantly constructed, bringing into the situation, and introducing the characters WITHOUT making you feel like the teacher is standing at the chalkboard writing it down for you. And the little "hidden" lines crack me up, especially the way Oliver says, "he was my Bottom for years."
