*pout*

My amazon.co.uk package has not arrived - which means I'm not getting my Christmas presents before Christmas. Not fair. The calendar came a whole week ago and I ordered it at the same time! Is it so hard to ask for a decent delivery time? I think not ( Read more... )

I never thought there'd be a day when I'd find that uninteresting. I miss my old mania.

I'm glad I'm not the only person who feels that way. HP used to be my big fandom, but now I only read the occasional fic, mostly WIPs I've followed for awhile that are still being updated. My only hope is that JKR doesn't kill off my favorite characters by the end, but I'm not holding my breath.

It was my big fandom as well. I only read one Work in Progress (then again, I was never a big fic reader anyway...)

I call Hamlet style ending.

I agree with you on the HP sentiment. My reaction, "oh, that's interesting!" and a bit of a "Finally..." thrown in. The gap between books 4 and 5 probably quelled my mania, absense did not make the heart grow fonder, the heart just found new and more exciting fandoms in the mean time. Although the HP inspired username never got dropped. Go fig.

HP was my frist online fandom, actually. But then it got huge and scary like an uncontrollable BEAST.

HP was my first online fandom too. I was insanely manic over it for a good two years. Now, I can't work up any form of 'yay'. It's so sad.

Thats sucks about your amazon package. I ordered something at the start of last week and I received it after 5 days. Just on normal shipping. Luck of the draw I guess.

I know! That's happened to me before too. It always seems to be the things I really want which go missing.

Haven't you heard that song about Santa coming to town? . . . . you better not pout!

But really, too bad about the Amazon order. You can print out the e-mail confirmation and wrap it up in a box.

You're mean.

HA! I've never heard it sung that way. I'm surprised, given the little singers I'm exposed to. Oh! And I thought it was funny enough watching the 5 year olds singing "you better be good for goodness sake" as an act of defiance instead of lining up quietly.

It's from Futurama. I wish i could claim it as my own, but like most of the clever things I say, it's from tv.
