I was always relieved to know the film project didn't make it, as, geez, that script was on all the wrong kinds of crack. I think it's because I normally deeply mistrust film adaptations of books that this news isn't making me smile (i.e. good adaptations always seem to be the exception to the rule). If it's true, they'd better do it right.
