PS. Yes, you do complain too much. Waltzing into a community and declaring "You're writing fanfiction wrong!! Write it better!!1" is one of the more stuck-up, obnoxious things I've ever experienced in fandom.
I really didn't think it sounded like that. I was trying to say: "Gee, why don't I see such & such in fanfics?" I'm terribly sorry if I came off as rude.
I loved "Twofish" too. But I also agree with irisbleu that their humanity -- or rather, their dual nature--IS kind of the point of the book! Considering how we see them being silly drunk and putting on a few extra pounds due to fondness for desserts and sleeping through an entire century (except getting up once to use the lavatory), I don't think doing sexual things in a very physical human way is a particularly big leap

No one here I suppose has heard of Azazel and Shemyazi.
Actually, I have. (Nice of you to assume that I haven't.) And I swear to God I've read a GO fic about just that story, although it was years ago, and I can't remember the author or the title of the fic... It involved angels getting into trouble for sleeping with humans, and Aziraphale having to explain to some very scary HR-type angels that he was NOT guilty of said sin.
So why are their no conquences? I'd like see a fic that shows messed up stuff happening as a result of this.
Also why is the sex so physical so human? They are supernatural beings, can't the sex not quite be so base, and more well uneatheral, like in the fic Two Fish.
Yes... Except that the original novel is silly, remember? And the point of the novel was that Aziraphale and Crowley did incredibly mundane, human things like growing houseplants, buying shiny pens, sharing a dislike for The Sound of Music.I can't really say much more at the risk of repeating what everyone else has said in their comments

You may be thinking of my story The Men of Renown? It's not based on the Azazel and Shemyazi legend the OP mentioned, but on the actual Biblical passage that mentions the sons of God/daughters of men marriages, Genesis 6:1-4. Like Angels in Heaven also deals with angel/human marriage.

No, I really don't think gender should be an issue.
