GO/HP/LotR/Discworld crossover...

Jun 20, 2005 17:14

....Just to prove that me and santity never were on speaking terms.

It's a short sequal to The Interdimensional Book Club, which I wrote ages ago. Though this should also make sense - as far as a multifandom crossover can - in isolation.

The Interdimensional Book Club Strikes Again )

crossover:discworld, crossover:lord of the rings, fic, crossover:harry potter, aziraphale, ensemble cast, terry pratchett, comedy, crossover

That is wonderful. I enjoyed the first one but this, this is spectacular!

And I can't be the only one who imagined them all in spandex/lycra at the mention of library vigilantism can I?

Thank you :D

Oh dear, am now giggling insanely at the thought of Aziraphale et al in horribly garish super hero costumes. Am also imagining the expression on Crowley's face if he ever saw Aziraphale in said costume.

Why can't "library vigilante" be a real career?! Waah! Wanna be one!

*Imagines what the blurb in the school careers brochure would be like*

Mind you it's probably one of those things you have to do on the quiet: By day they are mild mannered citizens. By night they are Library Vigilantes *cue theme music*

Aziraphale and the Librarian working as a good cop/bad cop team is especially enjoyable. Well, the Librarian does have a badge...

Thanks :D Glad you liked.

If Aziraphale tries and fails to use reason, logic and appeals to one's better nature to change book related behaviours then it's all down to the 300 pound orangutan.

And I expect the Librarian considers Aziraphale the dominant male of the Book Club because of his slight cheek pouches.

Thus proving, contrary to what Crowley says, that all of those cream cakes were a good idea.

*giggles madly* Oh, I so sympathize with them. And I just have to love the Librarian. I should feel bad for Draco, I really should...but he's such a prat he deserves the pain he'll get when he calls the Librarian a monkey.

But why couldn't have Aziraphale shown up when I stole "Macdonald Hall Goes Hollywood?" from my library? At least that would have made giving it back a little bit better, even though I would have had no idea who he was at the time... ;)

I'm sure that after a prolonged stay in St Mungo's he'll always remember the fundamental differences between monkey and orangutan.

Heh. Though Aziraphale would have probably felt duty bound to give a highly sanctamonious three hour lecture on the evils of stealing, and if he brought Elrond along....
