Call me racist all you want, but I don't give a crap about the races of the Last Airbender cast. I really don't.

I read an interview that explicitly stated that M. Night said himself that he was looking for actors/actresses that SOUNDED the most like the original cast. NOT for actors/actresses that LOOKED the most like them.

Like I said on F!S once, I could care less about the races of the actors. As long as they can act and the whole thing doesn't look like a cheap cosplay, I'm happy.

But apparently that makes me racist because I care more about quality than keeping the races cannon (and wtf is cannon anyway? OMG SOKKA AND KATARA AREN'T INUIT but nevermind that in the Avatar world there's no such thing as Inuits. Dx)

*hugs and squishes* FINALLY SOMEONE THAT KNOWS WHERE I'M COMING FROM!
I'm honestly tired of people going on about how OMG THEY AREN'T THE RIGHT RACE!
But really? They technically are. There's technically only one "race": the HUMAN race.

Same here! I really don't care who calls me what, but being called "racist" over the cast of a movie WHERE THERE IS NO ASIA, is kind of annoying.
(but seriously. It makes me want to tell those people, "I'll give you a map of their world. Now show me Asia." and watch them try.)
