I never thought that I would feel like this before,
I never thought that I would fall helplessly like this,
I never thought that meeting you would make me fragile like this…
Meeting you, did giving me something,
We started a very fresh, pure friendship…
The First Meeting..
It was already a month since the time I transfer here, at Kurogin High School.
“Hoi, bakanishi!! Have you heard of this news? There is another student transfer here today. I guess he’s hot since the girls are non-stop peeking into the teacher’s room”
“Oh, here comes the stupid Pi ruining my lovely morning”
Jin sang-song. Pi laughed, kicking my desk. His real name is Yamashita Tomohisa but he told me to call him Pi or Yamapi, and he was my first friend here. Since I came from America and still not fluent much in Japanese, Yankumi sensei told me to hang around him for his ‘very Japanese guy that can speaking’. I guess that is why until now I still can’t speak Japanese well.
“You know, Jin. Let’s bet if he is hotter than me or not..”
“Stupid Pi! Owh, if you’re willing to dance me a Lady Gaga dance, I’ll be in” I smirked.
‘Oh Lady Gaga, I’m sorry…’
“Fuck you, Jin! No one hotter than me. So, what about a week comes to the school naked?”
“Like hell I’m going to involved in your dirty mind, Pi”
“Wohooo, are you afraid?”
“How should I know if he is hot or not if I haven’t seen him? And I’m not wasting my time with your stupid bet, bakaPi!”
Yamapi smirked, challenging. He himself doesn’t know how that guy looks like. Jin raised an eyebrow, annoyed with that guy and his stupid challenge. Last time he did challenge him to bet about turtle’s fighting match.
Gladly, Yankumi sensei stepped into the class, with her high spirit as usual.
‘What a boring day again…’
Yankumi did give a very long speech like everyday she used to, and poor for her student’s ears to hear them. Then, she called a guy outside the class to walk in. Jin was spacing out, looking at the tree outside the window when he heard the shoes come in.
‘Just another transfer student..’
Still he doesn’t look at him until Yamapi kicked his desk. Jin turned around to face Yamapi.
“What?”
“Gosh! He’s freaking hot!”
Jin looked in front of the class, meeting his eyes with the guy’s figure.
‘Wow..’
The guy is slim, really thin. His skin looked so smooth and they’re bright. He has a brown hair, a little longer at the front. His eyes were a perfect partner with his hair. His lips, is so red and looked soft. Just then, the guy’s eyes meet him and the guy smiled. What a beautiful smile.
“I’m Kamenashi Kazuya. I came from Tokyo. My family moved in yesterday and I just transfer here today. I hope we can be good friends”
Kame smiled again, but this time it is concentrated at Jin. Jin smiled back, and their exchange in smile is just a beginning of a very strong friendship between them.
‘How much I wish for that meeting to never happened,
So that I would never felt this pain here’
But still, that time..
The bond between us has gotten stronger..
Getting Along
“Kame, faster!!”
“Akanishi, wait!!”
“Hey, I told you to call me Jin for the hundredth time. And if we’re slow, that Yankumi will chase us!”
“Yeah, she’s fast”
Then, they reached the school gate, launching themselves on the closed gate to get outside.
“Hell, yeah!!”
Both of them exchange a grins before a high pitch of Yankumi sensei reach their ears.
“Akanishi and Kamenashi, stop right there!! Don’t you ever dare to skip the class again!!”
Jin took a second to look at his sprinter teacher before get hold of Kame’s hand, dragging him to run as fast as they can.
Panting as they reach the playground with no longer Yankumi’s voice, they looked at each other before laughing out loud. Jin let go of Kame’s hand, calming himself from the marathon run before spoke.
“Video game or billiard?”
Kame laughed.
“What about ramen first?”
“Gosh, you’re saying that making me starving. Yeah, lets go!”
How I wish for the unbreakable bond to just disappear that day..
For how much I know that it won’t happen..
You are the one that giving me light,
You are the one that taking me out of my darkness and loneliness,
You are the one that giving me…the happiness..
We’re like brothers, and you even show me the real meaning of having a family..
A Place Called Home..
“Can I? I’m afraid if I’m giving trouble to them, Kame-chan..”
Kame laughed.
“I bet they will like you, Jin. And you’re not giving trouble to anyone at all”
“But, I’m still afraid..”
“Don’t worry, my family won’t eat you. They have a better meal than you”
“Mou..Kame…”
Jin pouted, resulting in Kame laughing at him. They reached the Kamenashi’s residence.
“Wow, is this a castle or what?”
“You’re too over, Jin. And this is not a castle, it just a normal house which is too noisy every single second”
Jin wondered what the smaller guy meant, but his question was answered as he stepped into the house. He felt like he was trapped in a zoo that full of monkeys. Yeah, there is a guy wrestling with the dog in front of him, another guy was running all over the huge house to catch a smaller guy and a lady, probably Kame’s mother running to hug him.
‘Wow..I never had someone ever hug me before..and this was..’
“Ughh, hard to breath..help..”
Jin gripped Kame’s shirt, wanting for help. He really can’t breath.
“Mom, you’re killing him”
The lady let go of him, giving him spaces to inhale some air.
“Owh, I’m sorry Jin. I’m so excited that Kazuya brought his friend home. And he did story a lot about you, you know..”
“Mom, stop it! Jin, are you okay?”
Jin looked at Kame, nodding that he is alright. And he did noticing a single blush at the others face.
‘Did I miss something just now?’
“This is my mom, those three monkeys are my brothers”
Jin laughed, thinking that Kame himself address the guys monkeys.
“Hoi, how dare you calling me a monkey, Kazuya! I am perfectly standing proud as a human being here”
The guy come to them with the dog besides him.
“Oh, I’m mistaken. A stupid monkey”
The guy knocked Kame’s head and Kame release a laugh from it.
“I’m Yuichiro, and those two monkeys are Yuya and Kouji”
Yuichiro smiling brightly at Jin, who was thinking something.
‘Even he called them monkeys?’
“Anyway, come in Jin. Make yourself at home”
Kame’s mom gives out a warm smile. A very warm feeling along delivered with the smile.
Being surrounded by warmness of Kame’s family making Jin’s realize that his own family is a fake.
‘So, this is what a family should looked like’
He let out a sad smile thinking of his own family, and Kame noticed that smile.
Real family, it supposed to be wonderful like that,
And I’m grateful that I could feel the warmness of a real family,
But at that time, I’m cold enough to stand my heart,
I would not let you getting closer to my world,
But somehow..
