I do stuff like that too. Usually in my porn when I'm writing it. Which is why my porn gets beta read most times. Typos in porn is very embarrassing.

I'm thinking Angel didn't know about the happiness clause at this point, otherwise he wouldn't have slept with Buffy and got his happy on that first time. Might work better when Angel gets back from the hell dimension sometime in S3, he's even more angsty at that point and probably more willing to get some distance from Buffy.

Probably right. I hadn't actually seen those episodes at the point, though. I know what happens in theory, but I'm just watched the first three seasons of Buffy for the first time now. (I saw 4-7 when they were on the air.)

Keep in mind, this was just written for fun, so I wasn't too worried about accuracy.
