*Sam gets busy getting the steak ready. She is very excited to show Grace her father's way of making steak and hopefully she will be impressed. She makes sure to set the steaks out in order to get them room temperature to get them ready to put on the grill*

[Grace comes up behind her to watch, munching on one of the carrot sticks from a tray of vegetables she just sat out.] Want me to fire up the grill while you get those ready?

Sure thing. They had to sit out for a bit. If you put them on the grill too soon they tend to shrink and dry out. I am so excited. I had not grilled steak in awhile.

Really? Huh... Well I'll do that then. Let me just put out some fruits too first. Cole's coming so we need some healthy choices.
