*Sam gets busy getting the steak ready. She is very excited to show Grace her father's way of making steak and hopefully she will be impressed. She makes sure to set the steaks out in order to get them room temperature to get them ready to put on the grill*

(ooc: I am using tips from this site Great Steak as Reference when Sam makes the steaks)

[Grace comes up behind her to watch, munching on one of the carrot sticks from a tray of vegetables she just sat out.] Want me to fire up the grill while you get those ready?

Sure thing. They had to sit out for a bit. If you put them on the grill too soon they tend to shrink and dry out. I am so excited. I had not grilled steak in awhile.

Really? Huh... Well I'll do that then. Let me just put out some fruits too first. Cole's coming so we need some healthy choices.

I'm sure it'll be fine. Cole will drop by for sure. If only because he'll wanna see you again. And Eyes wants to do a little 're-inactment' bit for the occasion. Which basicly means we'll be fighting for our guest's entertainment. [Her eyes twinkle with mischief.]

Ok. Do not use too much lighter fluid now. A little goes a long way. *knows that Grace is a good fighter but secretly hopes Grace is not getting in over her head*

[It's a few minutes later when Cole arrives, Nicholas in tow. He stands on the porch, reading Grace's note. Then he opens the door, cautiously and peeks in.]

*looks over her shoulder, smiles and waves to Cole and Nicholas. She is standing in front of the grill attending to the steaks* Hey welcome back Cole. I just put the steaks on the grill. Hello Nicholas.
