They weren't open at 10:30am
Clouds have disappeared leaving a sky so light blue in color that it's almost white
Still nothing to see
A horizon filled with vast expanses of nothingness
Just mile after mile of once green fields
Now yellowed from the heat of a Texas summer

Heading Towards the Panhandle
There's not a lot to see up here
Horizon to horizon of fences and fields
Oceans of green and yellow grass filled plains
Trees are few, fighting the scores of shrubs for the scarce water
Today, however, the sky is filled with blobs of clouds
Hot dog shaped poofs all trailing after one another in line after line
Like elephants following one another
