My friend gave me The Clash discography for Christmas/Chanukah and I was very grateful.

On my computer right now are 45 Bob Dylan discs -- which I think is everything but the three Christian albums. I'm obviously music-obsessed. :) But I'm in "the biz" so it makes sense.

I have an advance (obviously I could have had the import back in October but one of the mags I write for frowns upon imports) of "The Secret Life of the Veronicas" since I'm reviewing it. The CD is really growing on me. :)

Do you have it? I can upload it for you as long as you promise to buy it when it comes out. It's very important to me that musicians/bands are supported...

Dude, I know! The CD is great...it's a whole variety of music! LOL. Hey, I'm a CD Whore...I used to have so many, but my little newphew lives with me now, so God only knows where he took them.

Rockapella, I've never heard of them... I think my entire Friday is going to be spent checking out new bands -- guess I'll call it "researching" -- when really I should be working on an article that is in no way music-related. :)

Rockapella is a 6-member a capella group. AWESOME in concert. If you're using a downloading program, don't believe every file that says Rockapella on it. A lot of college a capella groups put Rockapella on their tracks so they get downloaded. Go to their website (rockapella.com) and listen to some clips first. They have fascinating harmonies and one amazing vocal percussionist. They have no instruments whatsoever. Every drum-like sound you hear comes from Jeff Thatcher's mouth. It's crazy how good he is. :)
