Coming out

So, I came out to my mother as bisexual last night.  I have been wanting to do this for weeks now and I finally did it.  I started off the conversation with, "Mom, what do you have against homosexuals?"  I asked her this question because of seeing her reaction to Katy Perry's song about kissing a girl also on seeing the preview of an episode on

Hey, good job! :) I'd go slow on wearing the bi-pride stuff around the house just yet...give the folks a few weeks at least for it to sink in and for them to come to a point inside themselves where they understand it and know that it's not about them, you know? Parents have a way of making things that are about US, somehow be about THEM, at least at first, heh.

congratulations. im planning on coming out to my mom too. but not now, maybe soon. i even bought a book about coming out 4 hours ago.. and i want to buy them bi-pride stufffsss too! hahaha.

Good luck with coming out! I have been looking for books on coming out, but I haven't been able to find one.

If I find a good site that has some stuff I'll let you know! :-)
