Inside and Out

These past months, it seems like every correspondence or conversation I have with students centers around the Big Three complexes:  Fear, Shame and Guilt.  Kala helps loosen and release them.  Over time, we clear the pathways of our  internal landscapes sowe can get from here to There with fewer impediments ( Read more... )

It occurred to me that Gossip, Envy and Judgment are often manifestations of Fear, Shame, and Guilt that we project onto other people. Hmmm.

As far as cleansing protection... I seal my home and office with salt water and do regular cleansing baths/showers. And I think I will be adding a slippery elm something to my office to give a little anti-gossip boost in light of some workplace drama.

Oh and I have glass evil eye protection charms in my car and my house

I am a big fan of Draja Mikaharic's simple psychic protection spells, such as using eggs to withdraw poisonous nasty stuff from me.

I also use pennies - this is something I just started doing on my own without anyone telling me how... I find a brand new, bright shiny penny and stick it in the corners of my windows and doors, both at home and in my office. Once the pennies have become dull, it's time to toss them out and get new ones. They naturally draw negative energy and it's obvious when they've taken all they can because they get all dull and blah looking.

I also took your advice and use mirrors. I bought a tiny pack of round mirrors and have them stuck in windows and doors too. :)

Most of the Witchy tools I use for this I learned from you, or am sure you already know. :)

An interpersonal tool I use a lot is simple directness: if I think someone is gossiping about me, or I'm feeling ashamed or afraid about something, I confront in as direct and simple a manner as I can.
