Engagement Photos

Last night our neighbor Marvin came over to drop off a CD of the engagement photos he took for Shasta and I earlier this month (he's an amateur photographer.) YAY!! I went through them and edited them up, since he doesn't know much about photoshop, and I'll be taking a few over to the store today to have some prints made

Thank you! I was pretty happy with how the photos turned out; his camera doesn't take very high-quality images at the big sizes, but after shrinking them down many of them turned out pretty good. :) And getting the photos meant we could finally make our save-the-dates, so yay for that!! ^^

He's a really brave guy -- completely quit his job to start his own freelance photography business. :) We'll definitely be pimping out his contact info as he was really fun to work with. ♥ We had fun taking these photos (and I think it showed in the pictures later!)

Oh, the engagement photos are really sweet. I'm surprised you're not in yellow yourself, but I reallyl like that color on you. And that last picture, *snicker* hhahahaha, ah what dirty minded people we are. But it's fun. XD

Congrats on the raise, but that does seem weird that people below you make more? How did that come about in the first place? Is it an age/experience thing?

*grins* I LOVE yellow but I don't wear much of it in my daily wardrobe as it doesn't always look right against my very peachy-pink, pale skin. In fact, I'm planning on tanning for a few months prior to the wedding to make sure I don't clash with my dress, hehehe! (Though I have PILES of yellow fabric at home so I may end up making a bunch of yellow stuff for my work wardrobe

Haha, Shasta and I just about died laughing when we saw that photo for the first time. We seriously just weren't paying attention at all. *^^*

I still haven't heard from my boss yet about signing the final raise paperwork... so I hope I didn't get all excited over nothing. :P Keeping my fingers crossed that the county commissioners will approve it, though... *hopehope*
