[Rose looks a little on edge. Partially because she's waiting for the same thing to happen as everyone else that's posted so far. She's actually just hoping to get it over with. It might be worse if she waits!]

So there've been a few returns in with the new arrivals this month. It's probably the thing here that makes me think it's got to be random ( Read more... )

feeling like an idiot (again), don't ask her to explain, barbossa, full of thoughts, flood

[Omega's stunned. Give him a minute. Ok. Give him another minute. Right.] You're probably right about that.

[She doesn't look particularly insane, so we're just going to move swiftly on.] Perhaps you should do something for the Doctor. Perhaps, save someone he couldn't.

If you're worried about not having one, of course.

One Inmate at a time, I think.

Yeah, I've learned that since. And whether he's grateful or not I probably still wouldn't undo it.

As for doing what you didn't -- you're already a better person than me, Doctor. I'm sure that counts even at moments when enraged and mad with power.

That only means you have a heart, Mlle. Tyler. Death shouldn't be casual.

Thank you, Monsieur St Just. That's just how I feel.

What nonsense. Destroying Daleks is something you should be proud of.

I ain't gonna be proud of killing nothing even when it's necessary, Rassilon.

And this is why I say you will never truly understand... Being compassionate towards Daleks is foolish. Destroying them is a necessity. And killing the Emperor himself is quite a feat, I must say.

I've seen enough of the Daleks to know how dangerous they are. Believe me. But I've also seen them evolve, I've seen them go mad and suffer, and I've seen them not want to kill.

The Emperor had to die. But I still ain't proud of it.

No, Rassilon. I don't think you understand. Who am I to know? Maybe living as long as you have makes you take it for granted.

Killing is killing. No matter who or what it is.

You did *what* to a TARDIS? Humans aren't meant to do that! *Time Lords* aren't meant to do that.

...

But at least you slaughtered the Daleks. You shouldn't pity them; they'd destroy your world too given a chance.

Pity doesn't mean guard is dropped. And it's not something I can help. I don't know how you can't feel sorry for something that just hates that it's even there.

And others being wrong or evil doesn't excuse a person to do something they normally wouldn't. Like kill.

It's easy not to feel sorry for them after receiving report after report of the people they've killed, planets conquered, races enslaved.
