"Do you mind? I mean... I'd hate to be trouble." Her words nearly drip of that sugary sweet innocence as bright blue eyes look up at him. He must be at least twice her size, roughly in mass and height. Never really figured she'd have been tall anyway. The thick red skin of the creature was sort of impressive at first, then it made her stomach turn a bit each time he twisted his torso and the sound of it cracking under the pressure made her want to swallow her tongue.
Still she smiled sweetly up at him, with the slight tip of her head that made her ponytail brush softly between her shoulder blades. All he had to do was press the release valve. Honestly it wasn't such a big deal.
Just a bit high. A bit too high for her unless she scaled the wall, which well she would've if he hadn't been standing guard.
She wasn't even sure what was behind the door. She imagined it was amazing. The sign posted further back in the tunnels said something about a viewing deck, and well she was simply a bit over excited to see the view. Biting on her lower lip she beamed up at him with those blue eyes of her and really who was he to say no to her?
"Vauk Gnauk Driinok."
Whatever that meant Jenny just nodded along eagerly hoping it wasn't something like 'Those that enter die' or something equally menacing... or dangerous... or really life threatening. Though now that she was thinking about it she could feel her hearts race a bit at the excitement. What if it was something horrible? Dangerous? Going to slice her head off as soon as she stepped foot inside.
Really, why was she waiting?
The large hand of the creature lifted up and pulled the release down letting the vacuum sealed door whoosh open making Jenny breathe the air in deep, then promptly cough at the thick feel of it in her lungs. Well she hadn't been expecting that. The creature shook his head, and she wondered if that was what his slight warning had been about.
Stepping into the room the air did feel thicker, she could still breathe, it just took... some getting used to. Her footsteps a bit cautious, but she made her way to the glass wall that overlooked the canopy. It really was amazing. The lush greens, and brilliant reds of the sky. The screams of the winged creatures flying around could barely be heard from behind the glass but she still felt their calls to each other. Exhaling lightly she smiled, pressing her palms to the cool surface of the glass.
If this was just the beginning... she never wanted to see the end.
