A really pleasant and relaxing read! Yeah it's a quiet fandom, but at least there're still writers turning out great stuff like this c: Plus post-war meeting up is my favourite subset of canon fanfics, so this sorta sad but mostly not story was right up my alley. Thanks for posting!

Thanks so much for the lovely comment! <33 I'm glad it came out relaxing and not completely sad; all the characters have been through so much in canon that I have no idea what a happy ending would look like for them, but I still want it ^^;; (Ah, that sentence looks like it's trying to swallow its own tail or chewed off its tail or something...)

Haha, that's quite true. I see Kanda wanting to relax for a bit at first, but I'm sure he'll get restless soon enough. Probably all of them will. Maybe the little old lady he works for has some interesting connections and is involved in some ~business~ here and there that might eventually find need of very...particular...skillsets =) And maybe a wandering Bookman or free agent with a ponytail accidentally or possibly on purpose both find themselves at the right (wrong) place at the right (wrong) time and finally realize they make an even better team together than apart and kick ass then ride off into the sunset together =D

Ack! I'm so sorry for the late reply! There's been a whole parade of computer-related problems lately, from mysteriously disappearing internet to the classic coffee all over the laptop. But thank you so so much for rambling and commenting! That's one of the most amazing things anyone's said to me ever, and I think it will keep me going for the rest of the year, at the very least <33 And I'm so honored and humbled that I've managed to inspire someone else's writing in some way; I think that's the best thing to ever hear for someone who enjoys writing =)

(There's just something about Lavi/Kanda that works so well with present tense, isn't there? Though I'm sure I still have screwy tense changes lurking around that I missed because I always catch a few new ones every time ^^;;)
