Pardon my if I just ramble, but I'm trying to form my thoughts enough for you to understand. (Even more so since I barely do commenting at all.)

First and most important of all, I love your fic. (And those LaviYuu ones that you wrote ages ago.)

Truth to be told, for a long time, I was supposed to comment on those and tell you how much I loved them, but somehow I never did. How I was supposed to tell you that I adore your writing style and your portrayals of Lavi and Kanda. And how your beautiful style to write in present tense slipped its way to my own Lavi/Kanda fic (which I still claim to be my best writing ever).

I've read over hundred fics of these two, and when I look back, yours were one of the first ones that I adored and loved and read more than once. So much that when I saw your post on community, I recognized your pen name. (And I never remember nicks.)

So, all in all, what I'm trying to say is that I love your writing style, the way it rambles and still brings the characters to live, and I would lie if I said that your Lavi/Yuu fics weren't a huge inspiration when I wrote and struggled with my "Dawn of the night".

So. Thanks. For all of that. (And for this fic too, it was beautiful.)

Ack! I'm so sorry for the late reply! There's been a whole parade of computer-related problems lately, from mysteriously disappearing internet to the classic coffee all over the laptop. But thank you so so much for rambling and commenting! That's one of the most amazing things anyone's said to me ever, and I think it will keep me going for the rest of the year, at the very least <33 And I'm so honored and humbled that I've managed to inspire someone else's writing in some way; I think that's the best thing to ever hear for someone who enjoys writing =)

(There's just something about Lavi/Kanda that works so well with present tense, isn't there? Though I'm sure I still have screwy tense changes lurking around that I missed because I always catch a few new ones every time ^^;;)

And be honored; you totally deserve it. (And yes there is! I have one (two?) one-shots that are not written in the present tense and as happy as I am with them, it just doesn't fit as well as the present tense. Not with these boys.
And yesh, the tense changes are evil!)
