I'm so tired of putting my heart and soul into friendships and relationships only to be disappointed when everyone just drifts away. I hate complaining but this just seems to be the trend of my life. I remember when I was younger I watched One Tree Hill, which honestly didn't leave much of a lasting impression on me other than this...A character

I'm the same with friendships and relationships... I tend to feel like I'm the one putting myself out there and giving so much of myself, and getting little to nothing back. And then they vanish. I'm the one to always try and keep in touch but eventually everyone vanishes. Some without any word at all.

I only have one friend who's stayed around for longer than a few months. Almost 8 years. But even we're not as close as we once were.

Everyone does leave. It's a sad and horrible thing and I wish I could say that they don't. But for me, I'm the same as you. I don't have good luck with people.
