Went to Cardiff last weekend, where the sun miraculously appeared for us. Of course, now it is raining again. But visited the Doctor Who exhibition and 'Torchwood Three Tower' at Cardiff Bay.
"Maybe it's because he's such a TV pin-up or maybe his interpretation of Hamlet (light on power-politics, heavier on personal hiatus) is likely to appeal more to the female mind."
I'm going to the UK next year and I fully intend to go and stand in front of the tower and pretend that no one can see me just like any fangirl. AND take loads of photos. :P
Well, it really depends where you're going in the UK. Cardiff has the exhibition, Torchwood Tower, and you can also get a map showing a lot of the places where they've filmed Doctor Who. In London there's the original 'Torchwood' centre in Canary Wharf, and of course, lots of the landmarks they've used on the show. There's also a Who exhibition in Liverpool, although I've not been there yet.
You can also visit a lot of places where they've filmed Harry Potter - like Gloucester Cathedral and one of the colleges in Oxford, among others.
