I have had tube feedings for other reasons (ED related) and it was a relief to help my body while my mind wasnt allowing it. this will be a great way for you to help your body while your body is having trouble keeping up with itself. Have you had one before?

I tried a naso-gastric feeding tube, but my gag reflex is too strong - it just didn't stay in, not for five seconds. Interestingly, I also had one placed once during surgery while I was under general anesthesia and when I woke up, it just sat there and my body wasn't attempting to vomit it out - it only happened when I was having it placed while wide awake and all.
The doctors have been trying to convince me to get a gastric feeding tube [PEG], but I'm not having that done to my body.
