Hmmm~ I love it~ I'm really glad you made it seem like she was going to die at the end of the last chapter - in a morbid kind of way - because, well, not only was I excited to read the next part, but you were able to add your own spin to it, making it where Cara, it seems, is different than the rest of the Mord'Sith. I wonder what made Cara come back though - not that she had exactly left in the first place. I can't wait for the next chapter 'cause it will have an explanation. Right? Riiiiiight? -nudgenudge- ;D
I love how Zedd was trying to comfort Kahlan, but really couldn't because he was so shocked. And, ohmygosh, the fact that he knew that Cara and Kahlan liked each other~ I'm surprised he didn't try to cock-block.
Anyway, all-in-all, that was fantastic~ Diggin' the plot of this chapter (and the whole story in general). Keep up the stupendous work~ :D

I love that the confession actually affected Cara in some way. I do like that she can't be confessed in other fics but I still think it should have some effect. I hope we get to find out what happened and if Cara completely fine or there is still something up.
You can really feel Kahlan's horror and guilt in this, especially when she is gearing up to talk to Zedd.
I wait with baited breath for the next installment!
