When did Richard beat Rahl and become the actual Lord Rahl?

So cute that Cara misses her best friend Richard.

I love Kahlan's discussion of her love for Richard past and present.

Once again, I love Kahlan's and Cara's banter.

Richard became the actual Lord Rahl when Lilly was roughly 6-months old. But, that is a fact that only I know because I have not written that bit yet. Well, now you know too. And anyone who reads this...

Glad you liked my "Richard-y Bits"; I worried that after leaving him in the background for so long people would find it jarring. But that's sorta how their lives are: Richard is a part of it, though not directly *in* it. The ghost of him is ever present, though perhaps less spooky than the term would imply. =-)

And I'm glad you're liking K & C's banter-- I'm actually REALLY enjoying writing it! haha!

Do you plan on writing that? I'm really interested in seeing the fic where Richard becomes Lord Rahl and the domestic discussions around it.

I definitely have an idea for the/a scene in my mind, but I don't know if it'll ever make it to page. Granted, it's a Cara/Kahlan moment, as (naturally) Richard is all the way in D'Hara when he is named Lord Rahl... It is complicated.
Perhaps I shall write the cliff's notes to it for you if you wish sometime, as I honestly don't know if it will ever get fully fleshed-out....?

Just read "Preoccupying Thoughts" and there is a new installment! But the quality of writing is so good I would never guess that they are only couple of days apart.
I like how Kahlan wants to know what C&R speak about, how she notices all small details about Cara and how she is worried that Cara feels lonely-K is a Snoop but she is a sweet and loving Snoop.
The only person who has ever looked out for a D'Haran is themselves. He cannot break that mentality in just a few years- perhaps not even a generation!" Actually it's a very wise thought.
Their love discussion - loved every bit of it!
And mm, I feel that it's getting warmer even it's freezing outside!

I'm a big, 'ole-skool Buffy fan myself. I guess you could say that's where my fanfic "background" is, really. leaving the BtVS-'verse is still sorta new for me... (*blushes*)

Well, because dragoon23 made me those awesome Cara-graphics, they get to pick what I'm writing next. I sent three possible scenes, and as soon as they pick one I can get writing! to say I am eagerly awaiting their decision is a heavy understatement...!

Define for me "squishy-happy"... and bare in mind that I actually have a very dirty mind when left to my own devices. =-P

I'm happy to hear that you like my-'verse's K & C, as they are kinda different than the ones we all fell in love with from the show... Glad I haven't perverted them beyond all lovable-recognition! (At least not yet. But that's a different kind of perverted!)

And I plan to keep writing, dragoon23 made some awesome Cara's-new-clothes Graphics, so they get to pick what scene I'm writing next. As soon as they let me know their choice, I'll get on it! It's kind of interesting letting someone else take the wheel, actually... =-)

hahaha-- I could not resist that line when it came into my head! I hope people enjoyed it as much as I did?

And yes, Kahlan's feelings for Richard are complicated. And yes, Kahlan would spoon Cara until the cows came home. Then she would spoon the cows. Err... wait, no that's not how it goes... Whatever, Mother Confessor is spooning a hot Mord'Sith-- that's what matters!
