lol, srsly.

I almost wish we could take this in and challenge our local shops to donate 10 cents on the same day. That'd be cool and a bit of a slap in the face. :P

If not... I guess I'll be trying some weird UK-only flavor something-or-other that day, grumbling under my breath.

1) Unlikely to have easy donation areas except in liberal areas,

2) You, like, totally need to get something if you're giving something, duh.

Convenience - Yup, this is the big one. Would the general population even know it was World AIDS Day without a caffeine-infused reminder? Probably not. At least that's something.

A good point, but generally people need to have a physical representation of their contribution in order to feel that it actually meant something. Just the way our brain works - the more reinforcement from the senses the better.

Now, if you're talking about me specifically, I hope to do both. That way I have my physical representation and more than one tenth of one pill out of many in a day's worth of HAART.
