Thankyou so much for this story, which weaves together all the things I hoped for. It is a pairing I'd not imagined before, but you do a fine job of letting us see the men at a turning point in their lives where they're rightly apprehensive about their futures, but also strengthened by their relationship with eachother. In many respects, knowing what is to come for these characters and for Rohan, it's a poignant scene, but there's a lot of love and trust at the heart of it and that also makes it hopeful. Thankyou.

Sweet and sad and with a very realistic feel to it... the best type of story, really, and I loved reading it.

I've never read this pairing, and you catch their dilemma and their attraction very well!

This pairing really is not a very common one but you rendered it beautifully here. You showed tenderness without undue sugar and really caught the feel of the Rohirrim culture nicely. It was a very enjoyable read
