When I first saw The Grudge in theaters, I was scared to go to sleep. I was in the office putzing on LJ because I didn't want to go to sleep. (It was the scene where she takes her from the bed that got to me.) My dad came out and it's like three in the morning, and he looks at me all "wtf?" Since he was going to sleep on the couch (my mom snores) and the office is adjacent to the living room, I fell asleep at the other end of the couch. I figured that if anything was going to happen to me, my daddy would protect me. :)
Oh Yeah, the bed scene is the one that got to me too.
When I first saw it I called EVERYONE I knew, trying to get them to come and sleepover my house, I even went as far as to call my best friend in GEORGIA! Of course no one could come over.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who was freaked out by that movie!!
