Indeed, Tallulah Red! *giggles* First impressions mean a lot, but luckily they're not everything! :) Thanks!

This could almost be a letter Legolas is writing home to a friend, or in his journal. I like his perspective on all his companions. Killer last line!

Hahaha, that last line really does get all of us, doesn't it? Even me - I wasn't expecting it, it just sort of 'showed up'...weird, but that's how I write sometimes - and then I stared at it and couldn't stop laughing for about 10 minutes. *grin*

Yeah, I've written characters writing letters before. Mostly Elwing, though...but I could see this being a letter home to one of Legolas' elder siblings. (In mine and Emma's 'verse, Legolas is the youngest of five brothers and sisters, though only two of his elder siblings still live in Mirkwood by the time of the War of the Ring.)

Interesting, his thoughts at this point!
He will end up being grateful that they did not get rid of that troublesome Dwarf!

Oh, I liked this look through Legolas' eyes, Kaylee. What struck me most (besides his opinion of 'that dwarf') was the recognition that he and Boromir, as sons of great rulers, might have more in common than first glance might suggest.

Oh Kei! I'm sorry I never responded to your comment :( My email's been funny (and not in a good way) about sending messages the last couple months; it must have slipped through.

Haha, yes, "that Dwarf". He will, of course, change his mind!

Yes, Boromir and Legolas do have rather more in common than one might think, don't they? Now I'm wondering what Ferion (my OC, Legolas' elder brother and the Crown Prince of Mirkwood) might think of Boromir...hmmm, interesting thought. Of course, that would necessitate Ferion somehow meeting Boromir...hmmm, well, if I could figure out a way, that might be very interesting. Thoughts?

Not to worry, it wouldn't be the first time I'd done a very late reply either, lol.

Ummm, Boromir. Well, he'd have done a fair bit of wandering around before he found Rivendell, I guess, and Ferion might have been on that side of the mountain for any number of reasons -- an extended patrol, gathering information for his father, meeting with someone... I'm sure there's a way they could run into each other.

I hope you had a lovely Christmas, Kaylee, and that 2015 is really good to you.

*hugs*
